At Roomplaza, we offer flat-share apartments for international students for a period of a year. Almost all contracts of the apartments start in August and end in July. Every year around April, we open our bookings season and from that moment onward it is possible to look for apartments and make a booking.
We have tried to make our website as easy as possible, but this is what you have to do in order to find and book an apartment you like! Please note that you can only make one inquiry at the time (!). In order to change your booking you will have to disconnect yourself from your previous booking.
1) Create an account on our website (sign up)
2) Pay the platform fee of €35 so you can use the services we offer on our website
3) Look for an apartment in the city you are planning to stay and place an enquiry. We offer apartments in Leiden, The Hague, Rotterdam, Enschede, Haarlem, Tilburg, Wageningen, Delft and Amsterdam.
4) Find flatmates you want to rent the apartment with to fill all the rooms in the apartment. Note that Roomplaza only rents apartments to complete groups (check here why). This can be done by using our 'find-a-flatmate' tool or maybe you already have friends you would like to rent with.
5) If you found your flatmates, you can invite them to your flatshare group. They all need to be registered on Roomplaza as well to accept your invite.
6) When the number of people matches the number of rooms in the apartment, the last step in securing your booking is to make sure that all members of the group paid the platform fee.
7) We have now received your enquiry and will send you a follow-up mail to explain the next steps in the process.
